This book provides a raw and vividly detailed description of how gangs in the America looks like from inside and outside. I as a former gang member have had firsthand experiences in gang violence and now as a person outside of a gang, when I reflect on my own actions I can see the differences. This book is a documentary of what I experienced as a black American gang member and how I fell into this phenomenon that earned me a nickname like “monster”
